How we started and our aims

Donisthorpe Community Interest Company was formed in 2021 with the main aim of creating a green community space on some unregistered land within the boundaries of Donisthorpe village.

The space will

• provide a rich range of habitats for wildlife and local biodiversity.
• offer children and young people a first hand experience of the natural world and using it to stimulate and enhance child development through play.
• offer local people somewhere to gather and connect, to do things together and pursue shared interest/activities or somewhere to enjoy the peace and allow for reflection.
